Step 1

Begin your old telephone doodle by doodling an imperfect rectangle shape in the middle of your page. Now, in the bottom quarter of this shape doodle a slightly curved straight line as shown in the example below.

Next, use curved lines and arc shapes to doodle the handset of your old phone. This is a little tricky. Be sure to keep the spacing between each line and the body of the phone even.

Now, doodle a couple of circles that will represent the telephone dial. First, doodle a small circle in the middle, then a larger circle around the small circle. Finally, doodle an arc shape along the bottom half of your large circle as shown in the example below.

Time now to give your old phone doodle a little detail. First, add some oval shapes to your telephone dial. Next, use a spiral type shape to represent the cord. Finally, use a rectangle and angles to add some further details to your phone as shown in the example below.

Step 1

Use a combination of arcs and lines to doodle your first set of keys as shown in the example below. Your key doesn’t necessarily need to look like this. Feel free to use your imagination. 🙂

Next, doodle another key behind your original key. Keep in mind that your original key is closer in view. Therefore, it overlaps your second key. As such, your second key is only partly visible as shown in the example below.

Now, doodle a third key on the left side of your original key. Your original key is closer in view, it, therefore, overlaps the third key as shown in the example below. Keep in mind that your keys don’t necessarily need to be an exact copy of this example. Feel free to vary the patterns of the lines.

It’s time now to add some depth and character to your set of keys. Use straight and curved lines to show shadows, indents, and reflections. Also, use circles on the head of each key. This will be used to hang the keys on your keyring. 🙂

The final step is to give your keys some color. It’s always helpful to have each key in a different color. This will help you to distinguish which key is for the front and back door. 🙂 Feel free to color the keys whichever way you like.

Step 1

Begin your shower and bathtub doodle by doodling a slim elongated rectangle with rounded corners in the middle of your page, as shown in the example below.

Below this elongated rectangle, doodle an arc shape that will become the base of your bathtub.

On top of the bathtub, doodle a showerhead. Use a combination of curved arc shapes and straight lines. Be sure to point the showerhead into the middle of the bathtub, or otherwise, the water will end up spraying all over your bathroom. 😉

Let’s now add some water and bubbles. Use short straight lines to show the water coming out of the showerhead. Use blob shapes to represent bubbles in the bathtub. In addition to this, use lines to give your bathtub a couple of legs and some more lines for shading.

Next, use straight lines to join your two rectangles from top to bottom as shown in the example below.

Now, use a couple of arc shapes in combination with several straight lines to doodle the brick area around the fire.

Time now to doodle the actual fire. Doodling fire is a little tricky. Use curved angled lines that peak three times as shown in the example below. It’s kind of like doodling waves or hills. Once you doodle the main fire, be sure to doodle a small fire within the main fire.
