How to Doodle a Rubbish Bin

Step 1

Begin by doodling an oval toward the top and middle of your page. This oval shape will become the lid for your rubbish bin.

Step 2

Next, doodle the side of the lid using straight and curved lines. Pay particular attention to keep the spacing between these lines and the oval consistent and even.

Step 3

Now, doodle the lower section of your rubbish bin. Again, use straight and curved lines as shown in the example below.

Step 4

Use elongated eye shapes to doodle the side grooves on the body of your rubbish bin. These shapes don’t need to be perfect but do try and keep them consistent. Also, use curved lines to doodle the handle on the lid of your rubbish bin as shown in the example below.

Step 5

Finally, add some color to your rubbish bin. You can either use various shades of the same color, as shown in the example below or complementary colors. Color will give your rubbish bin more character.
