How to Doodle a Pencil

Step 1

Begin by doodling an upright rectangle leaning towards the right. Kind of like the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy. 🙂

How to Doodle a Blender

Step 1

Begin by doodling an arc shape near the bottom of your page. Kind of like a smiley face. 🙂 Above this shape doodle a straight line, then connect that line with two more arc shapes as shown in the example below. This will become the base of your blender. How to Doodle Blender 01

Next, doodle the top part of your blender. For this purpose use, two straight lines angled slightly outwards. Then on the very top use an eye shape that will become the lid of your blender.

Use additional lines and angles to doodle a cap on the lid, a handle on the side, and blades coming out of the base of the blender. Furthermore, use wave-like lines that represent the liquid or banana smoothie in your blender. 😉

Step 4

Your blender isn’t going to work unless you have some buttons to play around with. Add some buttons to your blender using lines, ovals, and rectangles as shown in the example below. And if you’re feeling adventurous, add pieces of fruit or vegetables to your blender.

When it comes to doodling cleaning products, a little imagination is required. Cleaning products come in all shapes and sizes. You can, therefore, copy the examples below or feel free to come up with your own variations. However, it’s, of course, important to keep your doodles simple. Use the visual alphabet as you move through each step.

In the example below, you can see that only lines and rectangles have been used. These lines don’t even need to be straight, and the rectangles don’t need to be perfect. All you need to do is combine the shapes into something that kind of looks like a bottle or container of some sort.

How to Doodle a Staircase

Step 1

Doodling a staircase only requires two visual alphabet shapes. You need to understand how to doodle a line and an angle. That’s it. 🙂 However, getting the angles right could present the biggest challenge. Use the example below as a guide.

Next, mirror what you doodled in step 1 to the left or your original doodle. Try your very best to keep the angles equal and the spacing between the lines consistent. Use the example below as a guide.

Now, it’s time to connect the two sides of your staircase with straight lines. The tricky part here is understanding how to connect the lines without crossing them over. It’s helpful to begin at the bottom of the staircase and then working your way up. Alternatively, you can begin at the top of the staircase and work your way down one line at a time.

Time now to add some detail to your staircase. Use angles for this purpose as shown in the example below. You can also add some shading to each stair using short lines. Feel free to test this out by yourself. 🙂

Next, doodle the toilet seat cover. For this purpose use an oval shape, however, don’t fully close this oval shape. Instead, make sure to connect it to the base of your toilet using straight lines as shown in the example below.
