How to Doodle a Briefcase

Step 1

To doodle a briefcase, begin by drawing a deep arc shape in the middle of your page. Notice the angle of the arc shape within the example.

Now, doodle another arc shape toward the right the mirrors the arc shape you drew in step 1. Notice, how this second arc shape isn’t fully drawn. Only about half the shape has been doodled in the example. Notice also how the angles of the second arc shape mirror the angles of the first arc shape.

Let’s now connect the two arc shapes with a couple of straight and curved lines. Notice in the example where the connections between the arc shapes are done. There is one on top, one on the bottom, and a curved line is used in the middle.

How to Doodle Brainstorming

Step 1

To doodle the concept of brainstorming, we will need to get a little creative and think outside the box. To begin with, doodle a cloud shape in the middle of your page. Then draw a squiggly line moving from the left to the middle of the cloud shape. See example. This cloud shape will become the brain of your brainstorming doodle.

Step 2

Draw an oval shape right beneath your cloud shape. Then to the left, draw lightning using v-shaped lines. Pay particular attention to the angles of the v-shaped lines. These v-shaped lines will become the storm of your brainstorming doodle.

Step 3

On top of your cloud shape, draw a large and deep arc shape. Then connect this arc shape to the cloud shape you drew in step 1 with two straight lines. This shape you just drew will represent the concept of an idea.

Step 4

Let’s now add a few more details to your brainstorming doodle. Within the top part of your doodle, let’s make it look like a lightbulb. Use curved lines here, and also curved lines on the cloud shape which represents the brain.

Step 1

To doodle a school, begin by drawing a pillar in the middle of your page. A pillar is a rectangular shape with a triangular tip on the top.

Next, draw a rectangle behind this pillar. You, of course, don’t need to draw the full rectangle, but rather split it up into two pieces. Draw one half of this rectangle on the left side of the pillar and the other half on the right side of the pillar.

Let’s now doodle the windows and doors of our school. To do this, use rectangles, straight lines, and arc shapes. Notice the spacing between the windows and the positioning of the door within our doodle example.

To doodle the roof of our school, use straight lines. Pay particular attention to the length of the lines and how they wrap around the rectangles and pillar you drew in earlier steps.

To doodle a clipboard, begin by drawing the clip. The clip is kind of an awkward looking shape. However, your clip doesn’t necessarily need to look like this. You can simplify the design using a combination of an oval and rectangle shape.

Next, let’s doodle the board. Use a rectangle shape for your board. Notice how a part of the board is behind the clip. Notice also the angle of the board and how it is doodled within the example.

Let’s now doodle a piece of paper being held down by the clip. As you can see in the example, yet again I used a rectangular shape. Notice how the top part of the paper is partly hidden behind the clip.
