How to Doodle a Briefcase

Step 1

To doodle a briefcase, begin by drawing a deep arc shape in the middle of your page. Notice the angle of the arc shape within the example.

Step 2

Now, doodle another arc shape toward the right the mirrors the arc shape you drew in step 1. Notice, how this second arc shape isn’t fully drawn. Only about half the shape has been doodled in the example. Notice also how the angles of the second arc shape mirror the angles of the first arc shape.

Step 3

Let’s now connect the two arc shapes with a couple of straight and curved lines. Notice in the example where the connections between the arc shapes are done. There is one on top, one on the bottom, and a curved line is used in the middle.

Step 4

Use a combination of straight lines and v-shaped lines to give your briefcase doodle a few more details. Notice again the angles of the lines and where they are positioned within our drawing.

Step 5

Add the finishing touches to your briefcase doodle by adding a few additional lines to give our briefcase some texture. Then finish off by giving your briefcase some color. Feel free to be a little creative with your use of color. 🙂
