How to Doodle a Solution
If someone asked you to doodle a SOLUTION, what would you draw? Let’s keep this simple and straightforward using basic icons. Begin your doodle by drawing an oval shape in the middle of your page. This oval shape will become the head of your icon person.
Use three arc shapes to draw the body of your icon person. Notice how the three arc shapes form the right and left shoulder areas and also the torso area of our icon person.
Ideas or solutions are often visualized using a lightbulb. Use a combination of straight lines and arc shapes to draw your lightbulb. Notice the space between the lightbulb and the icon person in the example above.
Fill this space by adding a cloud shape around the lightbulb. We are adding this cloud shape to symbolize that the icon person is thinking about a solution to a problem. Notice how two small oval shapes extend from the head and into the cloud shape.
Add the finishing touches to your doodle by giving it some color. And there we have it. This is our visual representation of a SOLUTION. You can use this simple icon to draw an IDEA or SOLUTION in your visual notes. How many other ways can you think of to doodle a solution?
