How to Doodle a Sequence
Step 1
If someone asked you to visualize a SEQUENCE, what would you draw? Let’s make this one fairly straightforward. Begin your doodle by drawing three ovals in the middle of your page. Space out these ovals evenly across your page.
Step 2
Next, number each of these ovals from left to right in a sequence. Give the first oval #1, the second #2 and the third #3.
Step 3
To highlight that this is a sequence of steps, add an arrow in between each oval shape. Make sure that this arrow is pointing from the lower number to the higher number.
Step 4
Add a couple of arc shapes on the outside of each oval. This gives us the impression that it’s an active sequence of steps. In other words, something is happening or moving in this sequence.
Step 5
Add the finishing touches to your doodle by giving it some color. And there we have it. This is our visual representation of a SEQUENCE. You could, of course, replace the ovals with doodles of hats, cars, fruit, etc. The idea is to visualize a sequence of steps. The doodles you use to represent that sequence is completely up to you. How many other ways can you think of to doodle a sequence?
