How to Doodle a Queen
If someone asked you to draw a QUEEN, what would you draw? We could, of course, approach it one way and actually draw a head of a queen with a grown. Or we could go about it another way by drawing a chess piece. Let’s take a look. Use a combination of straight lines and arc shapes to draw the head of the chess piece.
Use three additional straight lines to draw the neck area. The lines kind of form a triangle but without the pointy top. Notice the angles and length of the lines within the example.
Use a straight line and a couple of curved lines to draw the body of your chess piece. Again, notice the length and curvature of the lines.
Use an elongated flat arc shape right under the body. Then draw the bass of the chess piece using a single curved line that extends from left to right.
Add the finishing touches to your doodle by giving it some color. And there we have it. This is our visual representation of a QUEEN. How many other ways can you think of to doodle a queen? Or how about trying to doodle other chess pieces?
