How to Doodle Navigation
If someone asked you to visualize NAVIGATION, what would you draw? How about a compass? To begin your doodle, draw a couple of oval shapes in the middle of your page. Notice how the outer oval shape is a little larger than the other oval shape.
Use v-shapes to draw the compass points for North, East, South, and West. Then insert the first letter to symbolize each compass direction as shown within the example.
Use a couple of v-shapes to draw your compass arrows in the middle of your compass. Right at the very center, you will notice a small circle. This is at the direct center of your compass doodle. The v-shaped arrows extend from the middle.
Add some more details to your compass using a combination of arc shapes and straight lines. Notice the positioning and placement of these shapes within the doodle example above.
Add the finishing touches to your compass by giving it some color. And there we have it. This now becomes our visual representation of NAVIGATION. But I’m sure there are other ways we could visualize this word. What else comes to mind?
