How to Doodle Manufacturing
If someone asked you to visualize the process of MANUFACTURING, what would you draw? How would you visualize the idea of manufacturing? Let’s use a very straightforward example using a car doodle. If you notice in the example, what I am trying to do is to show how a “doodle” car is manufactured step-by-step. In this example, I have used a simple arc and rectangle shapes.
Notice in step 2 of this process how we are visualizing how the doodle car is built/drawn. We start with the top part of the car, then we add the body, then we add the wheels, and then in the last step, we add some more details.
To highlight the fact that the manufacturing process generates income, I have doodled a few dollar bills underneath the four cars. Use a rectangle shape to draw the dollar. Then a couple of v-shaped lines below the rectangle to show multiple notes.
Now add lines in between the cars and the money to highlight a process of steps. This signifies that we are building a car and that it follows a manufacturing process.
Add the finishing touches to your manufacturing doodle by giving it some color. And there we have it. This is our visual representation of the manufacturing process. See if you can create another example of the manufacturing process using another doodle instead of the car. You could, for instance, use a house, or a bike, or a robot as an example. Feel free to use your imagination. 🙂
