How to Doodle Leaving
Step 1
If someone asked you to visualize the idea of LEAVING, what would you draw? How about combining an open door, an exit sign, and an arrow. Let’s see how that will work. To begin with draw a line in the middle of your page. Then on the left of that line draw a connected rectangle as shown within the example. This will become our door opening.
Step 2
Next, let’s draw our open door. To do this, use three straight lines. Notice the angles of the upper and lower lines. See how they are angling towards the middle. Here we are drawing perspective.
Step 3
To highlight the idea of LEAVING, let’s draw an arrow pointing to the open door.
Step 4
Above the door, doodle an EXIT sign as shown within the example. Draw a couple of rectangles. One smaller and one larger. Then write the word EXIT within the smaller rectangle.
Step 5
Add the finishing touches to your LEAVING doodle by giving it some color. And there you have it. This is our representation of LEAVING. Can you think of any other ways to doodle the idea of LEAVING?
