How to Doodle a Jail
Step 1
How would you visualize PRISON or the idea of being in JAIL using a simple doodle? Begin by drawing a circle near the top of your page. This circle shape will become the head of our prison inmate.
Step 2
Below the large circle, draw two smaller oval shapes. Notice the size of this oval shapes and their positioning under the larger circle shape. These two smaller oval shapes will become the hands of our prison inmate.
Step 3
To draw the bars, use vertical straight lines. Notice the spacing between the lines, the size of the lines and how the two middle lines are partially hidden behind our inmate’s hands.
Step 4
Let’s now use a couple of curved lines for the shoulders and a straight line for the hip area of our prison inmate. Then use several more arc-shapes for the eyes and mouth. Our prison inmate isn’t happy. So we will give him a sad face. 🙁
Step 5
Finish off your JAIL or PRISON doodle by giving it some color. And there you have it. This is our representation of someone who is behind bars in a jail. Very simple, but gets our message across. Can you think of any other ways to doodle a jail?
