How to Doodle a Bone Fracture
If someone asked you to doodle a FRACTURE, what would you draw? How about a broken bone. Begin your bone doodle by drawing what looks like a sideways w-shape. Notice the angle of this shape in the example.
Let’s now draw the bone fracture. To doodle this fracture, use a combination of straight and v-shaped lines. Notice the angle and the length of the v-shaped lines in the example.
Doodle the other end of our bone fracture using a w-shape as you did in step 1. However, this time the w-shape is facing the other way.
Draw the other end of the bone fracture using straight lines and v-shapes as you did in step 3 of this process. Notice how the two middle ends of bone fit together like a jigsaw puzzle.
To show that the bone has snapped in half, draw six straight lines around the outside of the bone. The finish things off give your bone fracture doodle some color.
