How to Doodle Energy

Step 1

drawing energy

If someone asked you to doodle a representation of ENERGY, what would you draw? How about a battery. Begin by drawing an elongated rectangle in the middle of your page. Notice how the rectangle is on a 45-degree angle. Notice also how the ends of this rectangle are slightly curved.

Step 2

draw energy

At the two ends of this rectangle, use an arc shape on the bottom end, and a rectangle shape on the top end. This will become the ends of our battery doodle.

Step 3

doodling energy

To show that the battery is powered up, let’s doodle a Z in the middle. But let’s make this Z look somewhat like a lightning bolt. Notice how the lightning bolt is a combination of two Z’s that are fused together. Notice also the angle of this Z.

Step 4

doodle energy

To show that our battery is full of energy, let’s add v-shaped lines around the center. This gives us the impression that the battery is charged up and ready to get to work. 🙂

Add the finishing touches to your battery doodle by giving it some color. Batteries, of course, come in a variety of colors. Therefore, feel free to experiment a little and use your imagination. 🙂
