How to Doodle Encouragement
If someone asked you to doodle the word “encouragement”, what would you draw? How about a cheerleader. Begin your cheerleader doodle by drawing an arc shape and combining it with an upside-down v-shape. This will become the head of your cheerleader.
Let’s now doodle the hair of our cheerleader. Out cheerleader will be female, so we will use long curved lines around the head for the hair. Notice how the lines are symmetrical on either side of the head. Notice also how the bottom section of the hair finishes in a v-shape.
For the arms of our cheerleader, use slightly curved lines that stretch upwards. Notice how the arms on both sides of the body are relatively the same length and size. For this doodle, we are trying to keep things as symmetrical as possible.
Time now to doodle the pom poms. To draw these pom poms, use cloud shapes. Pretend as though you are drawing a cloud at the end of each arm. Notice how there is also a second cloud at the back of the first cloud on each side. Notice also how the clouds almost mirror one another. This doesn’t need to be perfect. Just do the best you can. 🙂
Add the finishing touches to your encouragement doodle by adding some m-shapes and w-shapes on the pom poms, then giving your cheerleader doodle some color.
