How to Doodle a Bed
Begin by doodling the front bed frame. Use straight lines using 90-degree angles to doodle the frame and legs of the bed.
Next, doodle the sheets and mattress by drawing two straight vertical lines extending from the front of the bed frame. Then join those two lines together using a horizontal line that acts like a separator.
Doodle a couple of squares for the pillows, and then draw a rectangle behind these pillows that represents the back of the bed frame. Because the back bed frame is behind the two pillows, be sure that when you join up the bed frame lines that they are hidden behind the two pillows.
Add some depth to your bed using a simple shading method. Shade using straight lines. On the pillows use lines that are angled at 45-degrees. On the sheets and on the front bed frame, use straight horizontal lines.
The final step is to add some color to your doodle. Consider using various shades of the same color or complementary colors that give your doodle some personality and character. 🙂
