How to Doodle an Anchor
Step 1
To doodle an anchor, begin by drawing an oval shape near the top-middle of your page. They around that oval shape doodle an open arc shape with two straight lines extending downward. Make sure that the spacing between the lines is even.
Step 2
Now doodle a rectangle shape extending from the original shape you drew in step one. Try and balance the size of the shape evenly length-wise, as shown within the example.
Step 3
Let’s now doodle the bottom part of your anchor. Use curved lines and arc shapes for this purpose. This is the trickiest part of our doodle as we are trying to draw the anchor equally on both sides.
Step 4
Now use v-shapes to create arrows that are drawn on the tip of our anchor. You can, of course, change up these arrows and make them look different. Anchors can come in all different form factors.
Step 5
Add the finishing touches to your anchor doodle by giving it some color. Anchors can come in a variety of colors. Therefore, feel free to use your creativity. You can even doodle patterns on your anchor to give it a little more character. 🙂
