How to Doodle a Calendar

Step 1

To doodle your calendar, begin by doodling a rectangle in the middle of your page. To draw this rectangle use curved lines. This will give the impression that the calendar is made out of paper.

Step 2

Next, draw the top section of your calendar. This part will not be made out of paper, but rather plastic or wood.

Step 3

Time to give your calendar 3-dimensions. Do this by adding a few extra lines to the back of your calendar design as shown within the example.

Step 4

Time now to add a little more detail to your calendar to make it look more like a calendar. Use straight lines and ovals for this purpose. You can also write the year or month as shown within the example.

Step 5

Add the final touches to your calendar by drawing a few more lines. These lines give your calendar a little more character. Then finish off by adding a splash of color.
