How to Doodle a UFO

Step 1

There are a number of ways we could doodle a UFO. Nobody has ever seen a UFO, so nobody knows what they really look like… or have they. 😉 Begin your doodle by drawing an upside-down U shape in the middle of your page. Now close the shape with a curved line. This will become the cockpit of our UFO.

Step 2

Let’s now doodle the body of our UFO. To doodle the body, use a curved line that wraps around the cockpit. Notice where the curved lines touch the cockpit area of our UFO. Having the lines too high or too low will change the shape of our UFO doodle.

Step 3

Doodle another curved line to the under the main body of your UFO. Notice how this curved line mirrors the cockpit area in size and shape. Notice also how it is centered with the cockpit area. This will help us to give the UFO and nice symmetrical shape.

Step 4

Add some details to your UFO using lines and ovals. First, doodle some windows for the cockpit area using three oval shapes. Now let’s doodle an antenna at the top and at the bottom of our UFO. Use a straight line with an oval for this purpose.

Step 5

To finish off our doodle, use straight lines to create a shadow effect on the underside, body and cockpit area of our UFO. Add three small straight lines to the top antenna. This will make it seem as though it’s broadcasting a signal or message down to earth or to its mothership. 😉 And finally, give your UFO some needed color. Feel free to use your creativity. UFO’s surely come in many different colors. 😉
