How to Doodle a Shark
Step 1
Begin your shark doodle using a combination of arc shapes and straight lines. Notice how in the example the position of the curved and straight lines in relation to each other. It’s important that you get this spacing correct, as this will become your shark’s head.
Step 2
Draw the shark fins using arc shapes. Arc shapes are curved lines of varying sizes. Notice in the example the curvature of these lines and how they are positioned in relation to each other.
Step 3
To doodle the tail of our shark, use straight and curved lines. Notice how you can pretty much draw an imaginary straight line between the nose of the shark and the middle of its tail.
Step 4
Time now to draw some shark features. The features that we are going to doodle will give our shark some personality. Used a combination of arc shapes on the body of your shark. Then use small triangles to draw the shark’s teeth.
Step 5
Add the final touches to your shark by giving it some color and a bit of texture on the body using slightly curved lines. You can then also show that your shark is swimming in the water by adding wavy lines along the outside as shown within the example.
