How to Doodle Poetry
Step 1
If someone asked you to visualize POETRY, what would you draw? Let’s give it a go. Begin by drawing a quill pen. Use a combination of straight and curved lines to draw your pen. You are essentially doodling a feather. We will use this pen to write our poem.
Step 2
Next, let’s draw a piece of paper. Use a combination of curved and straight lines to doodle your piece of paper. This is where we will be writing our poetry.
Step 3
Because we are an avid poet, we will need additional sheets of paper. Use a combination of curved and straight lines to draw these sheets of paper. Notice how these lines mirror the original sheet of paper you drew in step 2.
Step 4
Let’s now draw an ink jar. Use a rectangle shape, three straight lines, and a couple of curved lines to draw your ink jar. I guess we could also call it a bottle. And when you’re finished drawing the bottle, write the words INK on the jar.
Step 5
Add the finishing touches to your doodle by adding some scribbles to represent our poetic words, then finalize your doodle by giving it some color. And there we have it. This is our visual representation of POETRY. How many other ways can you think of to visualize poetry?
