How to Doodle Failure
If someone asked you to doodle the idea of FAILURE, what would you draw? How about a thumbs-down doodle with an unhappy face. 🙁 Begin your doodle by drawing the fist and arm area using curved lines and short arc shapes. Notice the angle and size of these lines in the example.
To doodle the thumb on the arm, use an elongated arc shape. Notice in the example how the arc shape has been extended on that left side. This will become the forearm of your hand.
Let’s now doodle a shirt sleeve. To do this, use four slightly curved lines that wrap around the forearm area. Notice the size and distance of the lines within the example.
To doodle your sad face, use two arc shapes for the eyes, then two smaller arc shapes for the iris area. Use another arc shape for the nose, and one final arc shape for the sad mouth. 🙁
Add the finishing touches to your FAILURE doodle by giving it some color. This is, of course, just one way to represent the idea of FAILURE in a doodle. How many other ways can you come up with?
