How to Doodle an Engine
Step 1
How would you doodle an engine? Seems pretty complicated. Let’s break it down step-by-step. It’s a little challenging to explain the first step. The idea here is to draw straight lines. Pay particular attention to the angles of the lines and the spacing between the lines. This will become the main body of our engine doodle.
Step 2
Next, let’s doodle the first moving and spinning part of the engine. Use straight lines and two triangle shapes here. Notice how one triangle is upright, and the other is upside-down.
Step 3
Next, doodle the same shape on top of the engine. This time, however, everything is stretched out vertically rather than horizontally as we drew it in step 2.
Step 4
Let’s now give our engine doodle a third-dimension. Here we will just draw four straight lines on the back of the engine. Notice the angles of the lines and the distance between the lines.
Step 5
Add the finishing touches to your engine doodle by giving it some color. You can if you like to decorate the body of the engine a little with a name or some graffiti. 🙂
