Elements or Techniques?
Visual thinking elements are very much like the Periodic Table of Elements. However, you mustn’t view them as being separate from one another.
Whether an element is used individually or in combination with other visual thinking elements, they are still in essence techniques that you can utilize to help you solve your life’s problems. Therefore when it comes to visual thinking, I would like to use the word element and technique to mean the same thing. They are not mutually exclusive, but rather the same thing viewed in a slightly different context.
Each of these techniques and elements are powerful on their own, however they really begin to shine when they are combined and incorporated into the visual thinking framework.
Visual Thinking Roadmaps
Visual thinking roadmaps are a combination of elements/techniques used to help you solve problems quickly and easily. For instance there are visual thinking templates for:
- Generating creative ideas quickly
- Eliminating procrastination
- Conquering fear
- Achieving a specific goal
- Overcoming a problem
- Boosting your self-esteem
- etc.
More information about each of these elements, roadmaps, and a break down of each of the categories you see within the visuals will be available in the not too distant future.
